The feathers and the findings should not come into contact with water, perfumes, make up or other chemical products.

When you are pinning your new hat pin or brooch to your hat or coat, the feathers may become separated due to your handling. We have supplied a little brush with your product to gently preen the feathers once they are attached to your hat or coat. Gently stroke the feathers with the brush in an outward direction with the natural flow of the feather. 

If your feathers become separated, you can also bring them back together by preening them with your forefinger and thumb in an outward direction with the natural flow of the feather.
